Halftime: Duke Leads BC 9-0

Ross Martin has hit 3 field goals including a career tying 53 yarder to give Duke a 9-0 lead over Boston College after one half of play.

It has been a rather uneven and at time anemic offensive performance from both teams. Boston College has yet to complete a single pass in the game so far.

The Blue Devils have found some success throwing the ball downfield for once but haven’t been able to punch the ball in once they get near the redzone.

Defensively the Blue Devils have yet again been impressive holding the Eagles to just 100  yards of total offense.

Offensively  Duke hasn’t faired much better only gaining 155 yards but Sirk has been able to help the Blue Devils move the ball through the air (10-18 for 138 yards.) The running game, normally a strength  for Duke has only mustered 1.2 yards per carry against the stout BC defense.

Stay tuned for more after the game.
